16. Gradus ad Parnassum sive novus Synonymorum,

Ferenc Páriz Pápai (1649-1716) was a physician and humanist, who studied in Transylvania, Leipzig and Basel. He finally settled in Transylvania and became a professor at the Bethlen College in Nagyenyed. He was a prolific author and wrote medical treatises as well as philosophical works. Among his works are Pax animae, Pax corporis, Rudus redivivum, Ars Heraldica. The left hand image is the title page of his Hungarian-Latin-German dictionary (1708) See more information .

The right hand image is a thesaurus and a guide to writing poetry, published at the Jesuit College in Trnava in 1771. This edition is not in the British Library, the Bibliothèque Nationale, the Austrian National Library, the National Szechenyi Library, but it is in the University of Cambridge Library.

It appears that it is not in the British Library, the Bibliothèque Nationale, the Austrian National Library, the Hungarian Szechenyi Library, the Library of the Hungarian National Museum or WorldCat. It is dated 1747 and printed in Kassa (Košice).
