The left hand image is the title page of Komáromi Csipkés György's Disputatio theologica de bis-mortuis; Varadini: A. Kertesz Szenci, 1641 The right hand image is the colophon of the same item. Komáromi, a Protestant minister, began his studies in Debrecen, continued them from 1649 in Sárospatak and became rector in Kassa (Koice). In 1650 he enrolled at the University of Utrecht, where he became the first Hungarian to receive a doctorate in theology from that institution.
